About Me

My name is Allison Crain. This is my 8th year teaching first grade at Fork Shoals. I love first grade because of the focus on reading. Books are my passion, and I hope to get your students passionate about reading as well!
I graduated from Winthrop University in 2008 with my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and from Southern Wesleyan in 2012 with my Masters in Education. Though I graduated from Winthrop my blood runs orange. Go Tigers!
I have one son, Liam who is 3. He loves all things sharks, dinosaurs and turtles. He keeps me laughing and busy! When I am not playing with him I enjoy reading, shopping and crafts.
I am getting married to Andrew Graves in March and am very excited about starting our future together.
